Miami New Times
Creating covers for the Miami New Times was an exciting challenge that pushed me to translate complex, often heavy topics into visually compelling narratives that would stop readers in their tracks. Each cover required deep conceptual thinking and understanding the story's core message, then finding creative ways to bring warmth and accessibility to subjects that might otherwise feel distant or overwhelming. The process involved multiple rounds of iteration, experimenting with different visual approaches until I found the right balance of editorial punch and human connection. What I'm most proud of is how these covers managed to add joy and dimensional thinking to serious journalism, proving that thoughtful design can make important stories more approachable without diminishing their impact.
