Apple, Pattern Making Workshop

Apple commissioned me to host a workshop that brought together my passions for storytelling, illustration, and collaborative design. As a longtime Apple user, being invited to share my creative journey in this way felt deeply personal and incredibly affirming.

The workshop kicked off with a talk where I walked attendees through my path as a designer and illustrator, how I’ve shaped my practice around emotional resonance, user advocacy, and visual storytelling. From there, we dove into a hands-on pattern-making activity inspired by zip odes from O, Miami, poetic reflections rooted in local identity. To support the experience, I designed a custom set of digital brushes that captured the textures and moods I associate with place. Participants used these tools to create their own patterns, each one a reflection of their zip code and personal story.
